Week of the Family 2008To register for the 12th Annual Central Florida Family History Conference, please go to the registration page.

Your conference committee is so pleased with the new Internet registration format we started last year, that we have made it the best way to register!! Yes, you can still e-mail our secretary, June Osborne, at aussiejune@juno.com or call her at (407) 298-1493. But the fastest way is to just click on the Register button!

We are so excited to present our 12th Annual Central Florida Family History Conference which again will deliver more topics and new teachers! “Finding our Family Ties” is the theme of this conference and the classes reflect that.

Again this year, when you register, you will be able to choose exactly what classes you want to attend! A list of those classes can be found on the schedule page.

The conference does not have facilities for childcare, so we hope you’ll make your own arrangements for babysitting. We know that young adults (teenagers) and up will certainly benefit from the conference!

The conference is located at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3001 SOUTH Apopka-Vineland Rd., Orlando, Florida. It’s just 1/4 mile north of the intersection of Conroy-Windermere Rd and Apopka-Vineland Rd. It’s also directly across the street from The Orlando Florida Temple, a large white temple on the west side of the road. Look for the directional signs!

Click here to see a map of the conference location.

When you arrive at the conference, you’ll be able go to a special table called “Pre-Registration” and they’ll have your packet ready just for you! Remember that there is no payment in advance. The conference is free. If you want lunch, the charge will be $8.00, which can be paid at the “Pre-registration Desk” when you arrive. The conference starts promptly at 9am, so we hope you’ll come early!

Two world renown authorities on family history will be coming from Salt Lake City to give you the latest information on FamilySearch.org as well as a large variety of topics. These speakers are tops in their fields of technology and research. We also have almost a dozen other experts in family history who will bring the latest and greatest news in their subject area!
